Rail Signaling System Lab Tour

The Rail Signaling System Lab Course offers a comprehensive, hands-on learning experience designed to equip participants with the practical skills and theoretical knowledge required to understand, operate, and maintain railway signaling systems. This course is ideal for signal maintainers, engineering trainees, rail technicians, and other rail industry personnel involved in the design, installation, and maintenance of signaling infrastructure.

Participants will engage with real-world equipment and simulation-based tools that replicate mainline and yard signaling environments. Through guided instruction and lab-based exercises, learners will explore how signaling systems support the safe and efficient movement of trains across complex networks

Participants will gain practical experience working with:

  • Signal control panels
  • Track circuits
  • Interlocking systems
  • Wayside signals and indicators
  • Communication-based train control (CBTC) elements
  • Fail-safe logic systems

Who this training is for ?
  • Signal maintainers and apprentices
  • Railway technicians and engineers
  • Operations personnel working with signaling systems
  • Individuals pursuing careers in railway infrastructure or control systems
