Metrolinx Canadian Rail Operating Rules – 5 Days- MXCROR5-04-1225
This course is intended to provide learners knowledge and understanding of the definitions, rules and special instructions that govern Metrolinx’s rail environment such as the responsibilities of workers and the protection of track work, track units, and workers. Learners will leverage and explore the foundational components of the Metrolinx Operating Manual from an engineering perspective (such as the Canadian Rail Operating Rules, Timetables and Bulletins), learn how these documents are interconnected, and how to navigate between specific documents.
In addition, this course will provide a better understanding of the Metrolinx’s General Engineering Instructions (GEI), which are adopted instructions and supporting procedures that add information, guidance, and requirements, to ensure compliance to the Canadian Rail Operating Rules (CROR) in and on Metrolinx’s Right of Way (ROW).
