 ail environment such as the responsibilities of workers and the protection
  of track work\, track units\, and workers. Learners will leverage and exp
 lore the foundational components of the Metrolinx Operating Manual from an
  engineering perspective (such as the Canadian Rail Operating Rules\, Time
 tables and Bulletins)\, learn how these documents are interconnected\, and
  how to navigate between specific documents. In addition\, this course wil
 l provide a better understanding of the Metrolinx’s General Engineering 
 Instructions (GEI)\, which are adopted instructions and supporting procedu
 res that add information\, guidance\, and requirements\, to ensure complia
 nce to the Canadian Rail Operating Rules (CROR) in and on Metrolinx’s Ri
 ght of Way (ROW). Note: This Course provides the participant with a certif
 icate of training and not a CROR Rules Qualification. Completion of the MX
  5-day CROR/GEI is an entry level instruction that requires further classr
 oom training and field observation through a graduated curriculum develope
 d by Metrolinx. Holding track protection and track occupancy are not allow
 ed before level four of the curriculum process. Taking the 5-day CROR/GEI 
 course is acceptable for participants that hold an active qualification an
 d wish to attend for requalification. Pre – requisite: MX Personal Track
